Mildred M. Green, 88, formerly of Bloomington, Ill., died Feb. 18 at 4:45 a.m. in Reading Hospital, where she had been a patient one day.
She was taken to the hospital from ManorCare Health Services Inc., West Reading, where she had resided 21/2 weeks. She had previously resided at ManorCare, Spring Township.
Her husband, Charles A. Green, died March 30, 1976.
Born in Towanda, Ill., she was a daughter of the late Earl D. and Lora B. (Crose) Fillmore.
Green was last employed for 10 years by Eureka-Williams, Bloomington, retiring in 1978.
Surviving are two sons, Richard L. Greene, Osage Beach, Mo., and Charles L. Green, Batavia, Ill.; and two daughters, L. Kaye (Greene) Magnuson, Sinking Spring, and L. Sharon (Green) Blakney, Fawn Grove, York County.
Other survivors include a brother, Truman Fillmore, and a sister, Louise (Fillmore) Detloff, both of Bloomington.
There are also 13 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be this afternoon at 5 in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington. Friends may call Saturday from 4 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
