Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Theresa (Long) Wartluft.

She is survived by her son: Brian H., husband of Janina M. Gift, Harleysville; her sisters: Violet Kohl, West Lawn and Carol Hain, Shillington and her two granddaughters: Alicia Gift and Christina Gift both of Harleysville.
