Mildred V. Garner

Mildred Virginia Garner, 82, of 100 North Front Street, Reading Elderly Housing, died January 18th at 1:15 pm in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where she had been since December 29, 2003.

She worked as a cashier for a number of years at Boscov's North, Muhlenberg Township until her retirement in 1986.

Garner is survived by two sons, Glenn H. Garner of Tilden Township and Larry E. Garner of Muhlenberg Township.

Other survivors include two grandsons.

Services will be Friday at 2:00 pm in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing 1:00 pm until time of service. Burial will be private in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
