Mildred Dorothy Manderewicz

Mildred Dorothy (Heebner) Manderewicz, 90, died January 25, 2012 in her Muhlenberg Twp. residence.

She was the wife of the late John P. Manderewicz. She was also predeceased by her first husband, Robert F. Shugars.

Born July 31, 1921 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Russell Robert and Cathryn A. (Nagle) Heebner.

She was employed as a presser with the ILGWU for over 15 years.

Mildred was an active member of the Temple Fire Co. Women's Auxillary.

Surviving are a son, Robert F., husband of Christine S. Shugars of Muhlenberg Twp.; a brother, Robert Heeber of Florida; a sister, Betty (Heebner) Lattanzio of Muhlenberg Twp., four grandchildren, Matthew Shugars, Nathan Shugars, Michael Collins and Michele (Collins), wife of Andrew Possesski and their son, Avery Possesski.

Mildred was predeceased by a daughter, Kathryn Collins, five brothers and four sisters.

Services will be Saturday at 9:00 a.m. in the Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Twp.
