Mildred M. (Shollenberger) Dietrich, 97, formerly of Dryville Road, Fleetwood, died February 15th at 8:31 pm in the Emergency Room at Lancaster General Hospital.

She was taken there from Willow Valley Manor, Lancaster County, where she had been for 10 years.

Dietrich was the widow of Paul L. Dietrich who died January 4, 1992.

Born in Fleetwood, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Cora (Schlegel) Shollenberger.

She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Fleetwood.

Dietrich is survived by a son, Bruce F. husband of Joy (Rodgers) Dietrich of Lancaster and two daughters, Faye D. (Dietrich) widow of Richard E. Berk of Scottsdale, Arizona and Ann L. (Dietrich) wife of David W. Lane of Ligonier, West Moreland County.

Other survivors include two brothers, Earl W. husband of Ruth Shollenberger and George R. husband of Grace (Lenhart) Shollenberger, all of Fleetwood.

She is also survived by two grandchildren, Wendy M. (Dietrich) wife of Stephen Benz of Austin, Texas and Stephen B. husband of Christy (Pennell) Dietrich of Lancaster.

There are also three great grandchildren, Allison and Dieter Benz of Austin, Texas and Christofer Dietrich of Lancaster.

She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Shollenberger and a brother, Jonas Shollenberger.

Dietrich was best known for being a generous women who loved to bake, travel, play bridge and pinochle but most of all loved her family.

Services will be Saturday at 10:00am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Rev. Thomas McInnes officiating. Viewing Saturday 9am until time of service. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Fleetwood. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Paul's UCC., 5 West Arch Street, Fleetwood, Pa 19522 or to the charity of your choice.
