Mildred M. Becker

Mildred M. Becker, 85 of Shoemakersville, died March 29th in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She was the wife of William L. Becker married 58 years. Born in Gouglersville, PA., she was the daughter of the late Irvin H. and Erma S. (Glasmyre) Kramer. She was a member of St. Lukes Union Church of Shoemakersville. Mildred had worked in various Knitting Mills in the area for many years last working at R P Miller Co. of Shoemakersville where she retired in 1989. She was a member of Ladies Auxiliary of Shoemakersville Fire Co. and Shoemakersville Senior Citizens. She was pre-deceased in death by one brother, Harvey C. Kramer; one sister, Grace P. Kramer Surviving in addition to her husband is one son, Richard L. husband of Sharon E. Becker, Hamburg, PA; one brother, Melvin C. Kramer, Ephrata, PA. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 3rd at 11:00 am at the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, 40 S. 4th St. Hamburg. Rev. Walter Breiner, Officiating. Relatives and friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Perry Twp.
