Mildred A. Michael

Mildred A. (Heft) Michael, 79, formerly of 321 South 13th Street, Reading, died September 28th at 4:10 am in the Beverly Manor, Exeter Township, where she had been since 1999.

Her husband, Frank J. Michael died April 2, 1990.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Bertha (Harner) Heft.

She is survived by a daughter, Barbara L. (Michael) wife of James D. Yakaitis of Temple.

Michael is also survived by a sister, Barbara S. (Heft) Bachulski, of Reading.

There are also two grandsons, Frank M. Sallade and Larry R. Sallade Jr.

Services will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township. Contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Berks County, 1801 North 11th Street, Reading, Pa 19604.
