Michelle Barbara Stanton

Michelle Barbara Stanton, 75, passed away on October 10, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at Penn State St. Joseph's Medical Center.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Mitchell Zajac, Sr. and Barbara (Wunder). Michelle graduated from Hamburg High School, and proudly served her country as a Private First Class in the U.S. Army. Always lending a helping hand, Michelle had a special way of making everyone feel loved and cared for. She will be remembered for her kind heart, and her ability to brighten anyone's day.

Those cherishing Michelle's memory are her children: Ursula B. Heist (Trevor), and Rebecca J. Stanton; her grandchildren: Logan Heist, Emily Heist, Adrian Stanton (Sera), Olivia Longo, and Aubrey Longo; her great-grandchildren: Sela, Aiden, Lina, and Josiah; her cousin, Nanette Schlarb; and her cat, Orion. She is predeceased by her brother, Mitchelle Zajac, Jr.

Michelle will be laid to rest privately.
