Micheal Chip Currier, 34, of Mohnton, passed away unexpectedly in his home on September 10, 2024. He was born in Las Vegas, NV to Mark Stephen Currier, husband of Kim M Currier, of Blandon, PA and the late Dorothy Ann "Marie" Currier (nee Abma) of Manitoba, Canada.
Micheal resided in Canada during his early childhood before moving to the US. He lived with his family in Las Vegas, Nevada and later moved to Blandon, Pennsylvania. In Las Vegas, Micheal was affectionately known in school as "Canada" and in Pennsylvania he was nicknamed "Vegas". He graduated from Fleetwood High School in 2008. During high school, Micheal loved theater and music.
He began his banking career first at Woodforest Bank and then worked in customer support at Citizens Bank since 2013. Micheal loved spending time with his family. He loved traveling, hiking and biking PA trails. To know him was to love him. His heart was as big as his smile, and his laughter filled everyone around him with joy. He was always the first to lend a helping hand. He was a loving son and grandson, a protective brother, a cool uncle and a loyal friend and colleague. He will be profoundly missed by everyone whose life he touched.
Left to treasure Micheal's memory are his parents, Mark and Kim Currier; his siblings, Kristopher Wert, Amanda (Andrew) Little, and Danielle Marcano; his nephews and niece, Brendon, Brylan, and Anya; as well as his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
An informal celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2024 between 3pm and 7pm at the Currier's family home in Blandon, Pennsylvania. Please contact the family for details. Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory is entrusted with arrangements.
