Michael D. Zeiber, 70, of Exeter Township, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2011in Mercy Regional Health Center, Manhattan, Kansas.

He was the husband of Joanne (McIlvee) Zeiber.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Hezekiah and Myrtle (Ray) Zeiber.

He was a 1959 graduate of Boyertown Area High School and attended the IBM computer school in St. Louis, MO.

He was a Navy Veteran, serving from July 1959 until July 1963.

He was employed from 1971-1978 at Pottstown Plating Works and from 1978 until 1985 he worked for Thayco Trailer. He was lastly employed with Terre Hill Concrete Products until retiring as Corporate Traffic Manager in 2005.

He was a member of the Neversink Gun Club and the Stonersville Social Quarters. He was also a 30 year member of the Royersford Lodge F&AM. He enjoyed target shooting and especially loved attending car shows and showing his National Award winning 1983 Monte Carlo S.S.

In addition to his wife, he is survived his Daughters: Lisa Hill and Tracy Zeiber, both of Reading; Roxanne Russell of Newport, ME and Brandi Zeiber of Flying Hills. Also his Sons: Michael Zeiber of Ogden, KS and Scott Zeiber of Reading. Also surviving are his Brothers: Hazekiah Zeiber of Michigan and Robert Zeiber of Reading. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.

Services will be held on Friday, July 15, 2011 at 11:00 am in Blankenbiller Funeral Home, 423 Main Street, Oley. Interment will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township. Friends an family may view on Friday from 10:00-11:00 am. Contributions may be made to the Berks County Sheriff's Office, 633 Court Street, 3rd floor, Reading, Pa. 19601.
