Michael A. Yourkawitch

Michael Anthony Yourkawitch, Sr., 59, of North Heidelberg Township, died July 2, 2011 at his Wayne County cabin.

Born March 1, 1952 in Walnuttown, PA, he was a son of the late Anthony Yourkawitch and Leah Einsig.

Michael was a 1971 graduate of Central Catholic High School.

He was employed as a salesman with Lentz Milling Company for 41 years.

Surviving are three sons: Steve, husband of Heather Dunkle of Blandon, Michael A., II, husband of Helen Yourkawitch of Sinking Spring and Mark J., husband of Bridget Yourkawitch of Sinking Spring.

Other survivors include a brother, David, husband of Susan Yourkawitch of Fleetwood; two sisters, Rosalie Lorah of Fleetwood and Susan Yourkawitch of Lancaster.

There are also ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews surviving.

In addition, he is survived by his loving partner, Melodie Huddleston.

Prayer Services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. A viewing will be held from 11:30 until the time of service. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
