Michael Austin Winson

Michael Austin Winson, 19, of Shillington, passed away May 5, 2014 in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

Born November 30, 1994 in Wynnewood, he was a son of Lance A. and Terrie E. (Leventhal) Winson, Shillington.

He attended Governor Mifflin High School.

Michael was a first responder with EMS and was working towards becoming a paramedic. He loved helping people and wanted to leave a positive impact on others. He enjoyed skiing and was a member of the National Ski Patrol. He was also a baseball fan and loved spending time with his family, especially his sister, while blasting country music in her car. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his sister, Corey M. Winson, Shillington; and his brother, Eric L., husband of Rebecca M. Winson, Leesport.

A memorial service will be Friday at 4:30 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A visitation will be held from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
