Michael A. Stilianos

Michael A. Stilianos, 59 of Reading, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 29 in The Reading Hospital after a brief, but valiant battle with cancer. Born May 23, 1959 in Reading, he was a son of the late Arthur Stilianos, and Carol Ann (Wolf) D'Angelo of Florida.

A Wyomissing Area High School graduate, Mike also attended Berks Vo-Tech and was an industrial mechanic for Can Corporation, Blandon, last working in early September.

Mike was known to be an extremely hard worker his entire life. But when not working, he loved to ride his Harley, and enjoyed watching racing.

In addition to his mother, Mike is survived by his son Michael J. Stilianos, husband of Amanda, Ontelaunee, and his grandchildren Kierra and Sienna. He is also survived by a brother James T. Stilianos, husband of Constance, Reading, two sisters: Debra, wife of Britton Martin, Florida, and Diana Stilianos, Florida, and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss him greatly.

A celebration of Mike's life will be held Thursday, October 4 at 7:30pm at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, PA. Family and friends may call from 6:00-7:30pm in the funeral home. The Stilianos family asks that you honor Mike's memory by dressing comfortably.
