Michael T. Sheehan, 59, died July 14, 2010 in his Wyomissing residence.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Cynthia K. (Miller) Sheehan.

Born July 3, 1951 in West Reading, he was a son of Eugene O. Sheehan of Reinholds and the late Jean H. (Berger) Sheehan.

Michael was a 1969 graduate of Holy Name High School. He also graduated from RACC in 1981 with an Associate's degree in Art and from New York University in 1984 with a BA in Political Science.

He was employed with Diesel Service, Reading; Meridian Bank, Reading; H&R Block, Reading and Miller Environmental, Reading.

Michael was also the owner and operator of Already Read Books, Sinking Spring.

He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.

Also surviving is a step-son, Matthew R. Polityka, husband of Brooke (Hatt)Polityka of Womelsdorf. There are two grandchildren: Logan Hatt and Cole Polityka.

Other survivors include eight siblings: Eugene Sheehan of Anchorage, AK; Judith Fisher of Reading; Mary Shuman of Reading; Kevin Sheehan and Thomas Sheehan both of Colorado Springs, CO; Barbara Troutman of Reading; Theresa Tyrrell of Summerville, SC and Sharon Rogers of Clayton, NM.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. A visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family.
