Michael John Schonour

Michael John Schonour, 47, of Denver, PA passed away Saturday, June 25th, 2016 at Ephrata Hospital.

He was the beloved husband of Janice A. (Taylor) Schonour.

Born in West Reading, he was the son of Grace V. (Kachel) Schonour, formerly of Brecknock Township now of Terre Hill and the late John I. Schonour

Michael was a 1986 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School.

He was employed by Timet Metal Corp, Morgantown, as a furnace operator for 21 years, last working May 3.

Michael enjoyed hunting, gardening and working, but his true love was being with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, John H., husband of Mary (Sprecher) Schonour, New Holland; Megan N., wife of Nate Sokso, New Holland, and Micoleen K. Schonour, Denver. He is also survived by his sister Michelle A. Schonour, Terre Hill, and will be sadly missed by his beloved dog, Molly.

A Celebraton of Life Service will be held Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 5:30 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. 739 Penn Ave. West Reading.
