Michael Anthony Robidas, 50, passed away unexpectedly on June 22, 2012 in his Riverview Park residence.

He was the loving husband of Rita A. (Davis) Robidas, whom he married 28 years ago.

Born in Reading, he was a son of Felicia (Andrzjewski) Robidas, Reading and the late Paul J. Robidas, Sr..

He was a graduate of Reading High School.

Mike was a dedicated employee of Conrad Weiser High School as their Assistant Head Custodian. He truly loved his job and enjoyed going to work. Previously he was employed by the Dana Corp., Parish Division as well as Cambridge Lee Industries.

He was an avid sports fan and rooted for the Washington Nationals and the St. Louis Rams. He enjoyed the ocean and cherished vacations to Virginia Beach. As a nature and wildlife lover he especially enjoyed bird watching. He enjoyed bowing, volleyball, and playing bocce ball at family events.

Mike was a caring thoughtful and optimistic person. He loved spending time with his family and would attend all his children's and grandchildren's activities. He was a loving son, husband and uncle but above all a proud father and pop-pop. He will be dearly missed.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his three children: Troy M., husband of Kelly (Harner) Robidas, Muhlenberg Township; Andrew D., husband of Christine (Autrey) Robidas, Hampton, VA and Colleen M. (Kraft), wife of Joe Seidel, Oley. Also surviving are his brothers: Theodore, husband of Marian Robidas, Wyomissing and Paul J. Robidas, Jr., Reading. Five grandchildren: Serenna, Carly, Brady, Landon and Summer and one more grandson due in July also survive him. He will also be missed by his beloved dogs: Shadow and Conrad.

Services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be Tuesday 6:30 to 9 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Berks County, 1801 N. 11th St., Reading, PA 19604 or Berks County Animal Rescue League, P.O. Box 69, Mohnton, PA 19540.
