Michael J. Progansky

Michael J. Progansky, Jr., 76, of Sinking Spring, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018, in Berkshire Center.

He is survived by his significant other, Lorraine Shaw.

Born in Hazelton, PA, he was the son of the late Michael J., Sr., and Helen I. Progansky.

Michael was a United States Army veteran.

He was employed as an insurance agent for 27 years at John Hancock. Upon his retirement, Michael was later employed at Reading Hospital as a security guard.

In addition to his significant other, Lorraine, Michael is survived by a daughter, Michele M., wife of Howard G. Worthy, and a son Michael J. Progansky, III, husband of Pamela . Two grandchildren, Paige Progansky and Morgan Worthy also survive him.
