Michael Pregmon

Michael Pregmon, 87, of Wyomissing, died December 2, 2010, in Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

He was the husband of Marie A. (Vrabbel) Pregmon, to whom he was married for 66 years.

Born in Old Forge, PA he was a son of the late Konstantine and Mary (Burberniak) Pregmon.

He was a graduate of Scranton-Keystone Jr. College, and in 1949 he graduated from the University of Scranton.

He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, serving in the Far East during WWII.

Michael was employed for 35 years by St. Joseph's Hospital as their Vice President of Human Resources, retiring in 1995.

Michael was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

In addition to his wife, he is survived his brother, Walter Pregmon, Newton Township, PA, and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by five brothers and one sister.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum. There will be no public viewing.
