Michael P. Pflum

Michael P. Pflum, 74, passed away on June 18, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. 

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Lewis Killinger and Ester Pflum-Lengle. Michael attended Reading High School. He worked as a Foreman for Reading Tube and for Teledyne Anco for 20 years. He was also a Security Guard at Burlington Coat Factory, until his retirement. Michael was a Philadelphia Eagles fan, and always watched Sunday Night Football. He also enjoyed playing video games, fishing. He also enjoyed relaxing with favorite television shows, especially “Let's Make a Deal”, “The Price Is Right" and the Special Olympics. When his daughters were young, Michael enjoyed volunteering his time to their activities including coaching softball, and his daughter’s girl scout troops.

 Those cherishing Michael’s memory are his children: Tina Jones, Lori Pflum (Catherine), and Bobby Grande (Mariam); his grandchildren, Michael and Brandon; his great-grandchildren: Mariah, Oliva and Jacob; as well as his siblings: Nancy Pflum,Kenneth Pflum , Tom Pflum (Bonnie), Elanor Gravinese (Peter), and Betty Biedler (Donald); as well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his siblings: Jim Pflum, Barry Pflum, Bobby Pflum, Margaret Pflum and Joanne Purcell.

 A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 22, 2026 from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave, West Reading, PA 19611. Michael will be laid to rest privately at the request of the family.
