Michael D. O'Reilly

.jMichael D. O'Reilly, 75, of Wyomissing, died September 26, 2014, in St. Joseph Hospital.

He was the husband of Sharon V. (Gilmore) Dautrich O'Reilly.

Born in Bronx, N.Y., he was the son of the late Patrick and Bridget (McNamara) O'Reilly.

He was employed as a General Agent for Knights of Columbus, retiring in 1996.

Michael was a member of St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield, where he served as former president of the school board and Eucharistic Minister.

He was an active member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.

Michael was a former President of Birthrite.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Michael P., husband of Dale O'Reilly, Marshfield, MA, Tricia M. O'Reilly, wife of Christopher Lambert, Hudson, MA, Kelly A., wife of William Pickens, Hopkinton, MA, and Eileen O'Reilly, Whispering Pines, NC; four step-children and two sisters, Maureen, wife of Richard McGuire, Lake Ariel, PA and Barbara, wife of Peter Ceriani, Long Island, NY.

He is also survived by six grandchildren: Amanda Pickens, Will Pickens, Seamus O'Reilly, Katherine McNamara Lambert, Coleman O'Reilly and Quinn O'Reilly; nine step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 10 a.m. in St. Ignatius Loyola R.C. Church, 2810 St Albans Dr., West Lawn, PA 19609. A viewing will be held Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Ignatius Loyola R.C.
