Michael F. O'Brien

Michael (Mike) F. O'Brien, 83, of Spring Twp. passed away on November 10, 2022, at Penn St. Health St. Joseph Medical Center where he had been a patient for five days. He was the widower of Ita (Lowney) O'Brien.

Mike was born in March, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY. He was the son of the late Hugh and Audrey (Bessette) O'Brien. Mike spent his entire working career in the banking industry in Manhattan. He moved to Berks County in August 2004 upon his retirement.

Mike was a lifelong fan of the New York Yankees baseball team and the New York Giants football team.

Mike is survived by his brothers, Dennis (Morena) of Wyomissing and Hugh (Denise) of Newtown, Bucks Co. and four nieces and nephews: Sean, Tina, Kevin and Meghan. He is also survived by a step-mother, step-sister and step-brother and their families in Florida.

Services will be held a the convenience of the family. A private entombment will take place at Woodside Cemetery, Queens, NY.
