Michael J. Nave

Michael J. Nave, 56, of Birdsboro passed away July 16, 2016.

He was the loving husband of Elizabeth M. (Pfeffer) Nave, with whom he shared 20 years of wedded bliss.

Born in Reading, Mike was the son of the Rose A. (Spina) Nave, Wyomissing and the late Robert A. Nave.

He was a 1978 graduate of Wyomissing High School and graduate of McCann School of Business.

Mike was a beneficial member of Victor Emmanuel II, Board Member of Shady Hollow Assisted Riding Horse Farm and vice president of National Federation of the Blind, Berks County Chapter.

He was employed by Brenttag Northeast Inc. as an account manager for nine years and for the McCann School of Business for seven years. He also volunteered much of his time to the Abilities in Motion and the Shady Hollow Assisted Riding Horse Farm.

Mike was an avid bowler. He enjoyed singing, acting and making everyone around him laugh. Mike's presence would not only light up the stage but a room as well. But his true love was spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his twin daughters, Rosemary E. Nave, fiancé of Daniel Kochel, Birdsboro, and Jennifer L. Nave, Birdsboro. He is also survived by his brother, Gino, husband of Caroline Nave, San Francisco; uncle, Livio, husband of Nancy Nave, Exeter Township; future grand-daughter, Ava Buck, and loving feline companion, Princess and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Mike is predeceased by his uncle, James Nave.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 10 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
