Michael John Moonan

Michael J. Moonan, 43 of Amity Township, passed away Friday, June 29 at Pottstown Hospital. Born September 22, 1974 in Phoenixville, he was a son of John Moonan, husband of Terry, and Sandy (Schweikert) Yanick, wife of Ted.

Michael was a warehouse worker at Dana Corporation, and served our nation valiantly in the U.S. Navy. He was a big-hearted, caring person who especially loved kids, no matter who's they were. Family was everything to Michael, and he will always be remembered for putting his family above all else.

In addition to his parents and step-parents, Michael is survived by his children: Lexi, Haley, Payton and Michael Moonan, Jr.; his step-children, and brothers Rich and Brian Moonan; Steve Berry, husband of Sherry; Jason Berry, husband of Glorianna; and sister Melissa Berry. Also surviving are his uncles Harry and Frank Schweikert, Jr., and aunt Nora D'Augustine, his girlfriend Christine Gebhard, and his ex-wife Kimberly Moonan.

He was predeceased by his grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Harry Schweikert, Sr., and John and Elsie May (Rescan) Moonan.

Services will be private at the convenience of Michael's family.
