Michael Joseph Ledwozan, Jr., 74, of Hamburg, passed away in Penn State Health- St. Joseph on Tuesday, June 15, 2021. He was the loving husband of Adelaide (Pesther) Ledwozan. The couple have been married for 51 years.
Born in Queens, NY on February 25, 1947, Michael was a son of the late Michael J., Sr. and Dorothea (Holland) Ledwozan. He was an Army veteran, serving during Viet Nam before being honorably discharged.
Michael was employed with New York Mass Transit Authority for 37 years. He was a huge Mets fan and avid stamp collector. Michael also enjoyed crosswords but dearest to his heart was his family. Especially his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Adelaide; Michael is survived by three children: Michele Ledwozan of South Carolina, Melissa (Ledwozan) Michael of Louisiana and Adam Ledwozan and his wife, Nadine of Georgia. Also surviving are four grandchildren.
He is predeceased by one grandchild.
Services for Michael are private and at the convenience of the family. The Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home of Hamburg is honored to serve Michael and his family.
