Michael Robert Laino

Michael R. Laino, Jr, 89, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband to Joyce (Hruschka) Laino. They were married July 6, 1963.

Born in the City of New York, NY, he was the son of the late Michael R. Laino, Sr. and Rose (Pisano) Laino, of Brooklyn, NY. Michael served in the Air Force, before meeting the love of his life, Joyce, who he shared 60 years of marriage with.

He began his career at Aetna Auto Insurance in Hartford, CT, and later moved his family to Reading, PA. He worked with Aetna as a claims supervisor until his retirement in 1996.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Matthew (Kelly), of Alsace Twp; Greg (Angela), of St. John's, FL; Raquel Loeper (Jerry), of Lower Heidelberg Twp; Anthony (Corrine), of Shillington; Michele Kearney (Ralph), of North Wales, PA; and Debra (Ryan) Fritz, of Jefferson Twp; and his ten grandchildren: Gabrielle (Brandon), Corinne, Kaitlyn, Adam, Anna, Duncan, Wyatt, Luke, Ty, and Remy. He was predeceased by his sister, Genevieve DiSpirito.
