Michael J. Hatt

Michael J. Hatt, 34, formerly of Reading Avenue, West Reading, died of a brain tumore Dec. 25 in his residence on South 29th Street, Philadelphia.

He was the husband of Malay (Saysana) Hatt.

Born in West Reading, he was a son of Sylvia (Jones) Hatt, West Reading, and the late Howard Hatt.

For the past five years, Hatt had worked as a computer graphics production artist for Berry & Homer Inc., Philadelphia.

He was a graduate of Wyomissing High School in 1987 and the Art Institute of Philadelphia with an associate degree in visual communications in 1991.

Hatt was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, West Reading.

Also surviving are a brother, David A., Long Beach, Calif., and a sister, Michele E. Hall-Ciemiewicz, Wernersville.

Services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in Bethany Lutheran Church. Viewing Monday 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Sinking Spring Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Caner Society 498 Bellevue Ave., Reading, Pa 19605.
