Michael A. Fox

Michael A. Fox Sr., 69, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022, at his Sinking Spring residence after battling lung cancer for the past year. He was the husband of Suzanne L. (Dehaven) Fox.

A Reading local, Michael was the son of the late Ernest and Alberta (McMichael) Fox. Michael attended Governor Mifflin High School. He was employed in various positions at Empire Steel Castings for over 33 years.

Michael was a family man. He was especially proud of his children's accomplishments. He loved to spend time with them and treasured the summer beach trips they took together.

Survivors include his wife, Suzanne, four children: Michael Fox Jr., husband of Melissa; Tracy Fox; Jamie Fox, husband of Charity; and Sara Wicks, wife of Scott, and five grandchildren: Alexis Fox, Alyson Whitmoyer, Alayna Whitmoyer, Baylie Wicks and Addison Wicks. Michael will also be missed by his constant companion, his dog Sophie.

Michael was predeceased by two sisters, Sara Gardner and Donna Naugle, and a sister-in-law, Cindy.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
