Michael William Drobnick, 47, of Muhlenberg Township, died November 11, 2012 in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
He was the husband of Denise Marie (Waltz) Drobnick, whom he married June 1, 1991.
Born September 1, 1965 in Reading, he was a son of Rudolph A. and Carol S. (Stephens) Drobnick of Muhlenberg Township.
Michael was a 1983 graduate of Muhlenberg High School and Berks County Home Builder's Association journeyman carpentry program.
He was self-employed as a carpenter since 1997, last working Tuesday.
Michael was a member of Wilshire Fellowship, where he was also active in volunteering.
He enjoyed kayaking and following Philadelphia sports teams.
Michael was an active volunteer with Opportunity House, having helped to serve Christmas Eve Breakfast annually.
His main joy was following his children in their activities, especially Carolyn's competitive cheerleading and William's cross country and track.
In addition to his wife and parents, surviving are his two children: Carolyn M. Drobnick, a student at West Virginia University and William H. Drobnick, a student at Muhlenberg High School.
Other survivors include his brother, Rudolph A. Jr., husband of Allison Drobnick of Muhlenberg Township.
There are also six nieces and nephews surviving: Jessica and Christopher Drobnick, both students at Penn State Main Campus; Bradley, Nicholas and Eric Sweet, all of Painted Post, NY and Lilly Waltz of Colorado Springs, CO.
Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life Open House Sunday, November 18th at Michael's residence, between 12 and 5 p.m.
