Michael C. Diamond

Michael "Mike" Diamond, 72, of Mohrsville, passed away peacefully May 18, 2016, at the Reading Hospital after a short illness with his devoted wife Arlene and best friend Tonya by his side.

Mike was a resident of the Reading area for most of his life and attended Mt Penn High School.

He was a US Army veteran.

Mike was known for his community involvement which included being a Centre township supervisor and a volunteer with the Berkshire Fire Dept.

He was predeceased by his parents, Milton and Florence Diamond and his sister Mimi. He is survived by his wife Arlene of Mohrsville; his daughter, Michelle of Reading; his step-son, Jeffrey Smith, of Dauberville; his step-daughter, Yvonne, wife of Bill Harris of Ephrata and his brother, Eric, husband of Lora Diamond of Houston, TX. Several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nephews, nieces, cousins, and many, many friends and co-workers at Green Dragon, Leesport Market, Sheetz and Lowe's also survive him.

Mike will be most remembered for his humor which included uncanny impressions, timely wit, and non-stop entertainment for all.
