Michael D. Mellon, 68, of Sinking Spring, passed away on Monday May 24, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.

Mike was born in Upper Darby, PA to William and Eleanor Mellon (Paxton) on November 29, 1952. He married his best friend Celia with whom he shared 43 happy years of marriage. He is survived by five sons Michael, (Megan) grandsons Joshua, William and Caleb. Andrew, (Bethany) granddaughter Maddison, CJ (Jennifer) granddaughters Lily and Gwen. and Kevin (Kiara) granddaughter Idializ, adopted son Paul Martin. He has been reunited with his youngest grandson Caleb who preceded him. He is also survived by his brother William D Mellon.

Mike was an active member of St. Ignatius parish, fourth degree with the Knights of Columbus, volunteered on the parish safety committee, and former Cubmaster of Troop 432.

Mike was employed by Ephrata Hospital/Wellspan as a Clinical Informatics Specialist last working May 6th.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday May 29, 2021 at 10AM at St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, 2600 St. Albans Dr. West Lawn, PA 19609. Internment is private.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made in Mike's name to St. Ignatius parish at the above address. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be expressed at www.kuhnfuneralhomes.com.
