Michael Cammarano

Michael Cammarano, Sr., 73, passed away on January 25, 2022, in The Villages, Florida. He was the husband of Debbie (Hartman) Cammarano. They shared 45 wonderful years together.

Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Burns) Cammarano. Michael graduated from Millersville University and Temple University School of Law. He was an attorney in Berks County for 40 years before retiring happily to The Villages, Florida to fill his days with sunshine and golf.

Michael will be remembered for his open, accepting and optimistic personality. He was known for his great sense of humor and freely engaging in conversation with anyone he met. He was a lover of crossword puzzles, bad puns, singing karaoke and cheering on Philadelphia sports teams even in their worst seasons. His happiest times were spent with his family and especially his grandchildren whom he adored.

Michael is survived by his wife Debbie, children, Michael Cammarano Jr. and Beth Thompson wife, of Bryan, grandchildren: Lilly Thompson; Michael Cammarano III; and Abigail Cammarano. Also surviving him are his seven siblings: Mauro Cammarano, husband of Angel; Dolores Turley, wife of James; Joseph Cammarano, Jr., husband of the late Denise; Dennis Cammarano, husband of Barbara; Dominic Cammarano, partner of Charles; Mary Farrelly, wife of Joseph; and James Cammarano, and special family member, Erin Cammarano.

The memorial service will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022 at 12:30 p.m. at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave. West Reading. The visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to the time of service.
