Melvin L. Mccormick

God sent his Angel of Mercy into the hospital to take Melvin L. "Leroy" McCormick, 76, from his suffering on January 5, 2013.

Born in Meherrin, VA, he was a son of the late Willie H. and Mazie B. (Walton) McCormick.

He retired from the Parish Dana Corporation after 25 years of service in 1981.

He leaves to cherish his memories his two children: Craig McCormick and LaTrina McCormick. Also surviving are his three siblings: Glen McCormick; George, husband of Juanita McCormick, Baltimore, MD and Mary Rodgers, Glen Burnie, MD. Two grandchildren: Katrice McCormick, Felix Perez IV and a great-grandchild Amare McFarlin also survive him.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday April 13th at 2:30 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A visitation will be from 2 to 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
