Melva J. Guinther

Melva J. (Wanner) Guinther, 82, of Ephrata Township, went to Heaven to be with the love of her life, Sonny, and their son, Donny, who passed away in 1993, on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Ephrata Manor. She was the loving wife to Donald F. "Sonny" Guinther until his passing in 2019. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of Henry and Dorothy (Wade) Wanner. Melva was one of seven children.

After her schooling, Melva worked as a candy packer with R.M. Palmer Company until her retirement.

Melva's love of coffee and bingo brought joy to her life. She also loved fishing and the peacefulness it brought.

She will be missed by her daughter, April, wife of Earl Eveland, of Reinholds; her granddaughter, Britney, wife of Christopher Lutz, of Ephrata; and her great grandchildren, Lawson and Lydia.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations in Melva's honor may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
