Melissa Lynn Hessler

Melissa Lynn Hessler, 49, died June 28, 2011 in her Temple residence.

Born October 2, 1961 in West Reading, she was a daughter of Barbara Ann (Britigan), widow of Norman Sensenig, Jr. of Muhlenberg Township.

She was a 1979 graduate of Muhlenberg High School and attended Penn State University, Berks Campus.

Melissa was employed as a lab technician with Polymer Corporation for 10 years.

She was an avid music fan and extremely fond of her two cats, Dag and Murphy.

Melissa was a great friend to all who knew her.

Also surviving is a sister, Deborah A., wife of Thomas L. Shugar of Exeter Township; a brother, Todd Sensenig of Muhlenberg Township; and three step brothers, Scott C. Sensenig of Muhlenberg Township, Michael C., husband of Cindy Sensenig of Spring Township and Jay Norman, husband of Richanne Sensenig of Virginia Beach, VA.

Other survivors include several nieces and nephews, a great niece and cousins, Leslyn and Bob Zajdowicz.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.
