May Anna (Palm) Moyer, 80, of Sinking Spring and formerly of West Lawn, died March 24, 2007 at 2:20 pm in the Reading Hospital where she had been a patient since March 21st.
She was the widow of Donald R. Moyer, Sr., who died July 31, 1993. Born May 2, 1926 in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late George W. and Irene E. (Weitzel) Palm.
She was predeceased by her brother George A. Palm.
May was employed 10 years with Vanity Fair of Reading and later an additional 10 years with Hay Creek Apparel of Birdsboro before retiring in 1990.
She is survived by three sons, Donald R. Jr., husband of Sandra (Sims) Moyer of Bernville, Craig A., husband of Lenora (Hosterman) Moyer of Reading and Brian L, husband of Wendy (Hendricks). of Reinholds.
Other survivors include 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
May was predeceased by a son, Barry L. Moyer, who died March 2, 1968 during active duty in Vietnam.
She was a member of the Gold Star Mothers of America.
Services will be Thursday at 10:00 am in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Viewings will be held Wednesday 6:30 - 8:00 pm and Thursday 9:30 am until time of service. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township.
