May L. Heffner

May Leona (Heffner) Heffner, 90, formerly of Temple, died of natural causes October 7th at 8:10am in ManorCare Health Services, Muhlenberg Township, where she had been since May 29, 2003.

She was the widow of Roy Rapp Heffner, who died February 13, 1980.

Born in Fleetwood on May 1, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Beulah (Miller) Heffner.

She was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church, Temple.

May was a member of the Walnuttown Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by a daughter, Carol A. (Heffner) wife of Charles L. Stoudt of Muhlenberg Township and a son, David R. husband of Linda L. (Marshall) Heffner of Orangeburg, South Carolina.

Other survivors include three grandchildren, Steven M. husband of Lisa L. (Reppert) Heffner; Paul R. husband of Lori A. (Heck) LaFaver and Jeffery D. LaFaver.

There are also two great granddaughters, Kayla Marie LaFaver and Heather Nicole LaFaver.

Services will be Wednesday at 10:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale with the Rev. Lynda L. Elmer officiating. Viewing will be held Wednesday 9:00 am until time of services. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Richmond Township.
