May Claire Daniels

May Claire Daniels, 92, of Muhlenberg Township, died October 15, 2013 in Berkshire Center, Exeter Township.

She was the wife of James Herbert Daniels who died January 29, 1996.

Born May 18, 1921 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Walter E. and Claire (Homan) Delp.

May was a 1938 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

She was employed with Western Electric for 25 years, retiring in 1983.

May was a member of Salem Shalter Lutheran Church, Alsace Township.

She enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing the organ, was an avid Phillies fan and loved her son's adopted dog, Jilly Maria.

May is survived by her son, Michael S., husband of Karen L. Daniels of St. Lawrence and her two grandsons, Todd M. and Timothy B. Daniels, both of Clifton Heights, PA.

May was predeceased by five brothers and five sisters.

Graveside services will be private in Salem Shalter Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., Laureldale.
