Maximilian A. Stubenrauch

Maximilian A. Stubenrauch, 68, died of natural causes June 10 in his residence in West Lawn.

He was the husband of Maria (Ruhland) Stubenrauch.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Joseph and Maria T. (Drexler) Stubenrauch.

Stubenrauch was employed from 1955 to 1957 and from 1960 to 1965 by the Berkshire Knitting Mills, Wyomissing, and was last employed for 28 years as a toolmaker by the former AT&T Reading Works, Muhlenberg Township, retiring in 1993.

He was an Army veteran.

Stubenrauch was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

He is also survived by a son, Max, West Lawn; and three daughters: Barbara M. (Stubenrauch) Lightner, Fort Polk, La.; Anna K. (Stubenrauch) Soto, Sinking Spring; and Christina Stubenrauch, West Lawn.

Other survivors include a brother, Joseph, Mount Joy, Lancaster County; and seven grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Ignatius Loyola Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
