Matthew D. Brown

Matthew D. Brown, 50, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Juliet Reinheimer-Brown, with whom he shared 20 years of marriage.

Born in Reading, he was a son of Stephanie (Kalaras) Brown of West Lawn and the late Randy L. Brown. He was, in his own words, "a painter, a poet, a papa". For 14 years, he owned and operated Matthew D. Brown Painting, LLC.

Left to treasure his memory are wife, Juliet; daughter, Julie Brown of Exeter Township; son, Maxwell Brown; sister, Meghan Hummel, wife of Kirk, of Kenhorst; brother, Greg Brown, partner of Lori Lencheski, of Charlotte, NC; three grandchildren: Lucas Sebio, Nora Sebio, and Theo Oswald; and a good friend and spiritual brother, Ace Filipini II.

A Celebration of Matt's Life will take place on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, 3:00 pm in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. 739 Penn Avenue West Reading, PA 19611. The family will receive friends and relatives from1:00 pm until the service begins.
