Marylouise Schildt

Marylouise (Long) Schildt, 90, formerly of Kenhorst Blvd., Reading and the Highlands at Wyomissing, died March 6, 2007 in the Skilled Care Unit at the Highlands.

She was the widow of Harold D. "Ducky" Schildt, who died March 21, 1992.

Born March 7, 1916, she was a daughter of the late G. Blaine and Amelia (Hoffman) Long.

She was a 1934 graduate of Reading High School and a 1939 graduate of Ursinus College.

Marylouise was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church, Wyomissing.

She was employed a number of years in the employment office with Pomeroy's Department Store, Wyomissing and later as an executive secretary with Vanity Fair Corporation, Wyomissing until her retirement.

Marylouise was a former member of the Junior League of Reading and the Galen Hall Golf & Country Club, South Heidelberg Township.

She is survived by a daughter, Susan L. (Schildt) wife of Scott B. Gerhart of Brecknock Township.

Memorial Services will be held Friday at 11:00 am in Atonement Lutheran Church, Wyomissing, with the Rev. Richard H. Summy officiating. Burial will be private in Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading.
