Maryjane Fisher

MaryJane (Marks) Fisher, 83, of Ruscombmanor Township, died March 11, 2011 in the Lutheran Home at Topton.

She was the wife of Reilly Emerson Fisher, who died March 14, 1996.

Born in Reading, PA on May 23, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Robert A. and Anna M. (MacDonough) Marks.

She was employed as a seamstress for nine years with the Berkshire Knitting Mills.

MaryJane was a 1945 graduate of Reading High School.

She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Reading and the Eighth Street Church of God, Reading.

MaryJane was a past state president of the daughters of union veterans in 1963 and 1991.

She is survived by two grandsons, Adam and Edward Fisher.

MaryJane was predeceased by her two sons: Mark R. Fisher and Edward L. Fisher.

Services will be held Tuesday at 3:00 pm in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, with the Rev. Robin Henry and Rev. Dean Faulkner officiating. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Alsace Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
