Maryann Alicia (Garman) Beeman, 48, of Reading, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at Jefferson Hospital.
Born on October 15, 1976, in Reading, Maryann was the cherished daughter of the late James Garman, Aida Luz (Rodríguez) Garman and her stepfather Frank Joseph Willet III . She was the beloved wife of Richard Beeman, with whom she celebrated 30 years of a devoted and joyful marriage. Together, they built a life full of love and laughter, raising four wonderful children.
Maryann will be remembered by all who knew her as a woman of deep compassion, fierce love, and unwavering kindness. She had a heart of gold and a spirit that was quick to laugh. Her joy was contagious, and her warmth radiated to everyone around her. Whether she was in the kitchen baking her favorite cookies, caring for her beloved dogs Mila, Mabel, Deebo, and Lemon or simply spending time with her family, she brought light and love into every moment.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Beeman, and their children: Jarred, Darian, Seth, and Chase. She also leaves behind her siblings, Michael Garman and his wife Kristy, James Garman, and Frank Willet Jr., as well as many extended family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her father, James Garman.
The quote, "It's so much darker when a light goes out than it would have been had it never shone" — John Steinbeck, beautifully captures the brightness Maryann brought into the lives of those around her. Her absence is deeply felt, but her love will continue to guide and inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Maryann's life at a viewing on Monday, April 21, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church, 322 S. 5th St., Reading, PA 19602.
