Mary Lou Weber-Mathewson

Mary Lou (Boyer) Weber-Mathewson, 88, of Reading, died January 11, 2009 at 12:50 am in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

She was the widow of Joseph Frank Weber, who died February 24, 1973.

Born in Reading, PA on September 23, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Clarence J. and Emma (Scholl) Boyer.

She was employed a number of years as a bookkeeper.

Mary Lou is survived by five granddaughters and seven great grandchildren.

She is also survived by a half-sister; Jacqueline Reimer.

Mary Lou was predeceased by two sons: Larry J. Weber, who died December 13, 2003 and Richard D. Weber, who died February 7, 1996.

Prayer Services will be held Tuesday at 12:00 noon in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, with the Rev. Philip F. Rodgers celebrating. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
