Mary Sue (Andersen) Weaver, 52, died Sunday morning, January 18, 2009, in her Muhlenberg Township residence.

She was the wife of Robert Lee Weaver, whom she married October 5, 2002.

Born in Worcester, Massachusetts on September 20, 1956, she was a daughter of Andrew C. and Joan M. (Coffey) Andersen of Middletown Township, Delaware County.

She was a 1974 graduate of Penncrest High School, Middletown, Delaware County, where she was a member of Junior Achievement. She was also a 1978 graduate of Lebanon Valley College and a Dale Carnegie graduate.

Mary Sue was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield, where she was a member of R.C.I.A.

She was employed 26 years with Encompass Insurance, Spring Township, serving in numerous leadership positions, last working as an underwriting manager in November.

While at Encompass Insurance, Mary Sue earned the black belt in Six Sigma and the peer selected "CARE" award, an award bestowed on less than 1% of all employees for her exemplary caring for both the people and the business and also served as the company United Way Chairman.

She was recognized by Junior Achievement for her completion of classroom consultant J.A. Success Skills in the Spring of 2002.

Mary Sue is also survived by two daughters: Erin K. Williams of Muhlenberg Township and Katherine L. (Williams), wife of David Hydro Jr., of Schuylkill Haven and two step-sons: B.J., husband of Rebecca Weaver of Perkiomenville, Montgomery County and Neal A., husband of MacKenzie Weaver of Maidencreek Township.

Other survivors include a sister; Christine M. (Andersen), wife of Harry W. Peachey of Harleysville, Montgomery County; a granddaughter, 2 nieces and 2 nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother; Richard M. Andersen, who died February 1, 1970.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00 am in St. Ignatius R.C. Church, Van Reed Road & Whitfield Blvd, Spring Township. A viewing will be held in Church one hour prior to the Mass. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
