Mary V. Maurer

Mary V. (Rodino) Maurer, 82, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, in her Bernville residence. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold J. Maurer on December 7, 2017.

Born in Reading on August 4, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Dominick and Josephine (Embriani) Rodino.

She is survived by her son, James Maurer; daughter, Jessica Summy, widow of George Summy; grandchildren, Yuji, Kenji, Brian, and Andi; nephew Michael Rodino; as well as great nieces, nephews, and their families. She is also survived by her sister in laws, Darlene, Patsy, Ruth, and her brother in laws, David and Joel.

She loved being with family and friends. She enjoyed crocheting and counted cross stitch. She valued being able to reach out to help others.

She and Harold owned and operated H+M Well Digging, Inc for over 24 years.

A Prayer Services for Mary will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, 40 S 4th St, Hamburg, PA 19526, with committal to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, Reading.
