Mary Todisco

Mary Todisco, 87, formerly of Amherst Avenue, Lincoln Park, died Aug. 3 at 8:50 p.m. in her residence on Hillary Court, West Chester.

Her husband, Joseph J. Todisco Sr., died Dec. 27, 1993.

Born in St. Clair, Schuylkill County, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Dembyski) Washuta.

Todisco and her husband were the owners-operators of the East End Drug Store, Allentown, for many years until her retirement.

She was a member of SS. Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, West Chester.

Surviving is a son, Michael J., West Chester.

Other survivors include a brother, John Washuta, Belvidere, N.J.; and two granddaughters.

She was predeceased by a son, Joseph J. Todisco Jr., in 2000.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in Gethsemane Cemetery Chapel, Laureldale. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
