Mary Arlene Strunk

Mary Arlene (Weinsteiger) Strunk, 87, passed away June 23, 2013 in her Bally residence.

She was the widow of Earl C. Strunk.

Born in Barto, she was a daughter of the late George and Jennie (Moyer) Weinsteiger.

Mary had worked in the Bally Ribbon Mill.

She was a member of Most Blessed Sacrement Church, Bally.

Mary collected salt and pepper shakers and enjoyed country and polka music; but more than anything she loved her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Maragret Strunk, Bally and her brothers: Leonard Weinsteiger and Donald Weinsteiger, both of Bechtelsville. Also surviving are her four grandchildren: Jim Strunk, Cheryl Strunk, Beth LaSalle and Jennifer Gorman as well as seven great-grandchildren.

Mary was predeceased by her son, Earl E. Strunk and her siblings: Ralph Weinsteiger and Helen Rochong.

Services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in Blankenbiller Funeral Home, 423 Main St., Oley. A viewing will be held from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Oley Union Cemetery.
