Mary Jane Stetzler

Mary Jane Stetzler, 76 of Shoemakersville died peacefully in her home on April 5, 2014.   She was the loving wife of Donald G. Stetzler to whom she was married for 58 years. Mary Jane was born in Shoemakersville and was the daughter of the late Mark and Pauline (Kline) Strausser. She was a 1955 graduate of Perry High School and a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Shoemakersville.   Mary Jane was the owner of M.J. Ceramics which she managed from her home for several years.   She retired in 2006. Mary Jane loved reading, traveling, and cooking dinners for her family. In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughter, Sharon wife of Richard Becker, Hamburg, a son, Mark husband of Kathy Stetzler, Muhlenberg, one brother, Jack husband of Ruth Strausser, Shoemakersville.   She is also survived by her grandchildren, Scott M Stetzler, Tighe B. Stetzler and Steven M. Stetzler and great grandchildren, Ava and Laci Stetzler.   She was predeceased by a son D. Scott Stetzler on August 23, 2013. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 9 th at 1:00 PM from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc. Hamburg.   A viewing will be held from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM.   Burial will follow in St.Luke's Cemetery, Shoemakersville. Online condolences may be expressed at www.burkeydriscoll.com.
