Mary (Mary Pat) Shaub

Mary (Mary Pat) Shaub, 67 of Exeter, passed away Friday, August 26, 2016 in her residence surrounded by family and friends.

She was the wife of Michael T. Shaub whom she married August 2, 1975.

Born in Rome, New York, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Patricia (Russell) Campbell.

Mary was a member of St. Catharine of Sienna R.C. Church, Mt. Penn.

She was a sales associate at Boscov's East for 27 years until her retirement in 2013.

Mary loved to sew and was a very avid fan of Barbara Streisand, The Wizard of Oz, and Phantom of the Opera.

She made the best chocolate chip cookies in the entire world.

In addition to her husband of 41 years, Mary is survived by three children: Margaret M. "Meg", wife of Geoff Stuart, Wilmington, NC; Michael "Mikey" T. II, husband of Heather Shaub, Mt. Penn; and Melissa "Missy" M. Shaub, fiance of Alvin Green-Lewis, Reiffton; and two sisters: Diane, wife of Tom Bachman, Schuylkill Haven; Cathy, wife of Dennis Stambaugh, Strausstown. Six grandchildren: William and Andrew Hittinger, Cole Hammond, Rider Shaub, Ashlyn and Malcolm-Xavier Green-Lewis also survive her.

Friends are invited to Mary's home to join in a Family Remembrance on Sunday, August 28, 2016 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday September 16, 2016 at 10 a.m. in St. Catharine of Sienna Chapel, 2427 Perkiomen Ave, Mt Penn, PA 19606. Burial will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
