Mary Ellen Schneider

Mary Ellen Schneider, 75,formerly of Linden Street, Reading, died January 8, 2007 in Reading Hospital where she had been since December 24.

She was predeceased by her husband Edward G. Schneider, who died in 1989.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late William and Mildred (Schuler) DeTurck..

Mary was a cook and a waitress in the dietary department at the Reading Hospital, retiring in 1996.

She was survived by a son, Michael A., husband of Shari Koonce, Reading,and a daughter Deborah A., wife of Michael J. Keltz, Wernersville.

There is also a brother, William DeTurck, Oakmont, PA, 5 grandchildren, Chad and Matthew Mundell, Brandon, Noelle and Brian Koonce, and 2 Step-Grandchildren, Ryan and Erin Keltz also survive her.
